“The First Time” by My Morning Jacket

There is SO MUCH I can get into with this song but I will try to keep it short.

Whether we get into Jim James' voice & lyrics, preciseness and pronunciation of words, or the got damn music being played in the background.. it's a winner in my eyes.

My absolute favorite part of this song is the way Jim creates an emphasis on the "t" in "went" at 3:43. (REALLY LISTEN)

But THEN my absolute absolute favorite part is the guitar solos (which have guitars playing in the background at the same time!)

This song just gives me feels I really love & appreciate MMJ for that.
